Why New Premise
A company runs on premises it rarely says out loud. Which work needs a person. How long a task takes. What a team of 12 can take on. AI changes every one of them, and a company that adapts to the new set of rules will overtake one that does not. That new set of rules is the new premise, and the name.
There is a good way to adapt and a bad way. We show companies the good way, in their own departments, on their own work.
The bad way
- Buy the tools and hope.
- A pilot nobody owns.
- A mandate and a slide deck.
- AI as somebody's side project.
The good way
- Start where the return is largest.
- One department, on its own work.
- Its people trained on it.
- Measure, then move to the next.
03|Beliefs
What we believe
-
You own it, and your people run it.
Everything built is yours, on your systems and your data. The people who do the work are trained on it, so it keeps working after we leave.
-
The return sets the order.
We rank the work by how fast it pays back, and we build in that order. A tool nobody asked for is a cost, not a strategy.
-
One department at a time.
A company becomes AI-native department by department, on its own workflows, not through a company-wide rollout. Each department that works pays for the next.
04|The founder
Founder-led
Felipe Sanz founded New Premise in 2026 and runs every engagement himself. He spent the years before it reading how work moves through a company's systems, at Celonis, the process mining company, and then building and measuring AI systems in production at Budly. Before data science he worked in investment management in Luxembourg and in private equity in Geneva, which is where the habit of asking about the return comes from.
He studied in Switzerland and in Madrid, where he was later a guest lecturer at IE University for the Advanced Databases course. He moved to Texas in 2026 and works in English, Spanish and French.
